ServiceNow upgrade to Washington

On Tuesday, April 2, the Office of Information Technology will upgrade ServiceNow to the newest release, Washington.  

What you need to know  

On Monday, April 1, beginning at 08:00 p.m., fulfillers and agents will not be able to access ServiceNow. The Service Portal and other public ServiceNow pages will still be available and the campus community should still be able to submit tickets using the Service Portal during the upgrade process.    

Once the upgrade is complete, OIT will send an email confirmation and an update will be posted to the Service Portal and Outage page.   

About the upgrade 

There are a few improvements to the fulfiller experience. The color scheme in the fulfiller view is now more accessible for low vision users. Keyboard shortcuts are now easily accessible from the User menu. The portal view, utilized by faculty, staff, and students will not change.  

If you would like to explore Washington prior to the upgrade, it is available now in the QA instance of ServiceNow. Please note that the data in QA is not current.
