OIT is aware of an issue with Apple Macs running Sequoia 15.2, which prevents users from connecting and presenting via AirPlay. To help expedite support, we are providing a spreadsheet (containing known devices and colleagues on an affected 15.2 Apple Mac), as well as a base email template for outreach. Please feel free to modify the template to fit your department's needs.
The recommended fix is to update to the latest version, 15.3. As always, we recommend computers are connected to a power source and backed up, if possible. The update should take 20-30 minutes.
If colleagues are unable to update, there is also a temporary workaround documented in KB0014427, in addition to connecting computers via an HDMI or other video cable in the room.
